Daredevil Hoodlums Abduct Community Leader In Delta

Unknown gunmen have whisked a community leader and traditional title holder, Chief Michael Olamiwe,
the Owelle of Nsukwa kingdom, Aniocha south local government area of Delta State.

Trouble started on Wednesday December 8th 2021, when the victim was returning from a meeting at the Nsukwa Palace to Ogidi-Nsukwa, when the bandits opened fire on his car, punctured his tyre before taking him hostage to an unknown destination.

According to LEAP TV  impeccable source the victim’s car was shot at severally before he was whisked into the bush.

As at the time of this report, the men of the Nsukwa vigilante have started combing the bush in search of Chief Olamiwe, the Owelle of Nsukwa.

Another source said the whiskers are suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen as Chief Olamiwe, was taken through the river.

According to the source, his beads and shoe were discovered at Orewa farms, another enclave close to Nsukwa, when people trooped to the area.

It was gathered that a faction not loyal to the king allegedly laid siege on the Owelle of Nsukwa and successfully whisked him away.

It would be recall that another Chief that was kidnapped and murdered was buried few days ago in the community.

Contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, said he is not aware of the incidence.
