No fewer than four cult members have shot a police officer, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), identified as David Igbinovia, in Ime-Obi, Agbor, Ika south local government area of Delta State.
Trouble struck Wednesday August 3rd 2022, when the deceased ASP was washing his Toyota Camry Car at his residence when the bandits attacked him, killing him on the spot.
It was gathered that the 62-year-old victim who hailed from Ughada community, Edo State, attended the burial ceremony of his late brother the previous day at his hometown before meeting his own death.
Meanwhile, four members of the gang have been nabbed by members of Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, Agbor Division that acted swiftly having heard the gunshots.

At press time, it was reliably gathered that the suspects have been transferred to the Delta State Police Command for further investigation.
