An Edo State High Court has convicted one Awopetu Gbolahan Emmanuel and Johnbull Kingsley for possessing documents containing false pretenses, misrepresentation and making false statement.
The Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on August 4, 2022.
The Court was presided over by Justice M. Itsueli of the Edo State High Court, Benin City.
Kingsley was arraigned on one count charge of possession of documents containing false pretenses and misrepresentation, while Emmanuel was arraigned for making false statement to an officer of the EFCC.
