A fire broke out in a section of the Port Harcourt refinery located in Rivers State.
The incident was confirmed on Wednesday by Billy Gillis-Harry, the National President of the Petroleum Retailers Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria.
According to him, the blaze was swiftly contained within five minutes of erupting.
“Yes, it is true that there was a fire outbreak in the Port Harcourt refinery, but it was contained in 5 minutes,” Gillis-Harry told DAILY.
