A man, Babajide Tobiloba, has lost the sum of N1,429,000 to a syndicate while trying to satisfy his sexual urge at his teenage lover’s house.

The Point gathered that Tobiloba was lured by a 19-year-old girl, Chukwudi Treasure, to her house located at lletoyen Area, Ikire, headquarters of Irewole local government area of Osun State where the victim was robbed.

It was gathered that Treasure invited a syndicate of three men to her house, who later robbed her guest after some hours of intimacy with each other.

The attackers were said to have been armed with dangerous weapons.

They allegedly collected Tobiloba’s phone and transfered the sum of N1,429,000 from his bank account before discharging him.

The suspects, who are cooling off in police cell include Adedapo Sani, aged 33; Michael Nwoko, 36; Oyebamiji Akeem, 21; and Chukwudi Treasure, aged 19.

The victim, of Oke-Awo Area, Ikire, Osun State, later reported his ordeals at a police station in the town before the suspects were apprehended.

One of the police investigators informed The Point that the incident happened on July 11, 2023.

The police officer said, “On 11th July, 2023, the complainant, Babajide Tobiloba, was lured by one Ahiante Ehiremen to her house, located at lletoyen Area, Ikire, Osun State, with the guise of being his friend, having planned and set her syndicate in the house.

The complainant was robbed of his mobile phones by the suspects and others now at large, armed with dangerous weapons, and they as well transferred the sum of One Million, Four Hundred and Twenty Nine Thousand Naira from his account through his phone.”

It was further learnt that the suspects were arrested on July 26 and they have been assisting the police in the investigation of the case.

Meanwhile, in a motion ex-parte sighted by The Point, the state police command has asked an Osogbo Magistrate’s Court to allow it keep the suspects for extra two weeks to enable the Police to conclude investigation.

Magistrate Abdulateef Ajala ordered that the suspects be kept for two weeks in police custody and arraigned after investigation.
