Recall that both Senator Ekweremadu, his wife, and Dr. Obinna Obeta were sentenced by a UK court for their roles in organ harvesting.
Senator Ekweremadu received a 10-year sentence, while his wife was handed six years in prison.
The return of Mrs. Ekweremadu is being warmly celebrated across Enugu State, with residents expressing hopes for the swift return of the Deputy Senate President.
