Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have sealed a multi-billion naira hotel in Osubi, Okpe local government area of Delta State.
Investigation revealed that the hotel is said to belong to the embattled governorship candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Sheriff Oborevwori.
The hotel, which is still under construction is being investigated for alleged financial fraud.
The commission is yet to issue any official statement with regards to the development.
The rattled PDP gubernatorial candidate has been dragged to court over discrepancies uncovered in the certificates he submitted with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2023 general election.
