Hear him: “As I speak to you two of them are on suspension as of last week. In short, is just that the governor is being magnanimous.

“The intention abinisio is to sack them, a committee has been set up that is investigating them in line with the civil service rules and I can bet you that certain actions will be taken because the committee they have been able to answer the query given to them.

“They have admitted to the things that were accused of and we are using them to show minor example but after that, anybody who think because we tempered mercy with justice and want to progress along that line the full weight of what the civil service rules provides will be used on such a person.

“So we are already showing examples with individuals. As I speak those two engineers are on suspension and so that tells you that we are serious when we say value for money we are not joking.

“Any engineer, any civil servant that connives with a contractor or that inadvertently makes us to lose money thereby vitiating our results to get value for money, that person will go in for it and we mean it rrespective of how highly placed, the governor, is very clear about it”, he added.

The Commissioner was flanked by the Chief Press Secretary (,CPS), to the Governor, Olorogun Sir Festus Ahon and the Executive Assistant to the governor, Comrade Felix Ofou.
