One Misan Aniretan has been shot dead by yet unknown persons along Laboard Road by Commercial Avenue, Sapele, Sapele local government area of Delta State.
The hoodlums equally shot another boy, identified as a barber, whose condition is yet unknown.
Trouble started on Friday evening when the gunmen opened fire on their targets.
A resident who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the incessant killing and sporadic shooting in Sapele, scares many young boys who are indigenes from coming home to invest.
According to the resident, “those with multi-million naira investments in the town are relocating due to the insecurity that has bedeviled the town”.
It was learnt that Misan Aniretan died from bullet wounds in the early hours of Saturday, after six pants of blood transfusion was carried out on him.
Aniretan’s death makes it the second death recorded in Commercial Avenue within five days.
At press time, text and WhatsApp messages sent to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, were ignored.
