Trouble started on Saturday 2nd January 2021, when the hoodlums trailed a truck suspected to carry some contents from Otovwodo Park to the area which lasted for hours.
It was learnt that after robbing the truck in a bid to scare attackers, opened fire on them, killing the mechanic and injuring many others.
While the body of the late Asaboro was later deposited at the morgue, the indigene and youths took to the streets prostesting against the killing.
It was gathered that the youths took to the Street as there was no security operatives to challenge the hooligans during the robbery.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the robbery, disclosed that investigation was on top gear.
