The incident occurred on Wednesday 16th February 2021, on the Warri-Sapele expressway when a bullet from the hoodlums touched her.
It was gathered that the deceased was pregnant and was said to be the only passenger, who died in the incident.
Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Warri branch, Chief Emmanuel Uti, said, “It is true. She was on her way from Sapele. It was an armed robbery incident on the road and they shot at the car conveying her.
“She was hit by a bullet. We only got to know around 5pm. So, maybe, it happened between the afternoon and the evening”.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, said “I don’t have that report”.
