Barely three weeks when one a 20-year-old boy suspected to be a yahoo boy, simply identified as Clinton, was allegedly killed by his partners in crime over N50 million alert, one Mr. Emma Ere-egamoma, has purportedly made failed attempt to kill his mother for ritual purpose.
It was gathered that Ere-egamoma, who lives in Okuokoko tried plucking off his mother’s eyes, Mrs. Oke Ere-egamoma, an indigenes of Odorubu who equally resides in Okuokoko.
It was learnt that the victims who sells petty foodstuffs in okuokoko market beside the police station was able to loosen the grip of her son from her neck before escaping and calling for help.
Narrating her ordeal in the hands of her biological son, she said that “for some days now the son has been boasting that he must drive GLK this week.
“So on Tuesday at about 8:00pm the son invited me to his house at Caroline street Okuokoko that he had a surprise for her.
“On getting there, she saw the son in a joyous mood with loud music, then after the son locked the door and was trying to strangle .e to death by trying to pluck off my eyes.
I started screaming for help but due to the loud music, there was no response but strength came upon me and I ran outside for help and neighbor came for my rescue and my son was caught and has been taken to Orerokpe Police Station”, she added
Mrs. Oke is receiving treatment in an Hospital in okuokoko.
It would be recall that the late Clinton, was a member of Baptist Church, Okuokoko Community, where he was a member of the Royal Ambassador, has been thrown into mourning.
