The alleged killer of Usifo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Super TV, Chidinma Ojukwu, has been crowned as Miss Cell at the Lagos Correctional Centre.

But the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) in Lagos has said that a prime suspect in the murder of Usifo Ataga was allowed to participate in a beauty contest as part of its effort to rehabilitate the suspect and other inmates.

Ms Ojukwu, an undergraduate, is the alleged murder suspect of the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Usifo Ataga, who was killed on June 15, 2021.

But in a swift reaction, the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Media, Mr. Norbert Chiazor, in a post on his Facebook page, kicked against celebrating someone who caused pains to a family.

“Family wrecked by the darkest of grief is served breakfast of beauty pageantry

“The power of ostensible evil is no longer in the hands of a mystery girl. This is not OMEN, the 1976 horror movie. The wound is real.

“How do a nation forget June 12, 2021 so soon-murder so bizarre! Alleged slayer now a national queen.

“Choreographed to star majesty, bathed in bouquets. What indiscretion advertising the images of a weird empress in public? Correctional home,

“So hungry for talents while tears of the Atagas splash on a fake crown! Nigeria is not a tragedy. It is comedy of errors”, Chiazor, wrote.
