Samaila Ilu, a 35-year-old Nigerian, has committed suicide due to his terrible situation in Jigawa State.

DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, a police spokeswoman, verified the event to the DAILY POST.
According to him, “On 17/08/2023 at about 1100hrs, police received a report that a 35-year-old man Samaila Ilu of Dungun Tantama village, Hausa local government, left his house on 16/08/2023 to an unknown destination.”
He later stated that his body was discovered hanging from a tree with a rope, implying that he had committed suicide.
Shiisu stated that a team of police officers took the corpse and transported it to the hospital for autopsy.
He stated that it has now been released to his relatives for burial.
