His arrest followed a tip-off around 6:00am, to police operatives attached to Oba Division in Idemili south local government area of Anambra State.
The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) CSP Haruna Mohammed, alleged that the suspect shot a tricycle operator popularly known as Keke rider on his forehead before snatching his tricycle at gunpoint.
According to the image maker, “The victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention and is responding to treatment.
“The suspect has voluntarily confessed to the crime and exhibits recovered in his possession includes one locally made pistol and the snatched tricycle”, adding that investigation is ongoing after which the suspect would be brought to justice.
