Gbagi Greets Obasanjo At 85

Leading governorship aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, has greeted Nigeria’s former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on his 85th birthday.

The former minister of education in a statement he personally signed, described Obasanjo, as a stabilizer, a mentor and a leader par excellence who led Nigeria, as a democratic President.

Gbagi joined family members, friends and associates of the former president in celebrating the milestone, adding that Obasanjo’s commitment to Nigerian nationhood remains outstanding and commendable, while also underscoring his sacrifices for the continent, including standing up for democracy in many countries.

“As the former president celebrates the auspicious occasion, Gbagi prayed that the almighty God will grant him longer life, good health and strength to keep serving the nation and the continent.

“Obasanjo, has proven to be a trustworthy leader as well as an intelligent man with ideas he subscribe to. His likes and the experience of those who have served in different capacities like him are so valuable to our nation now more than ever before.

“We pray that the almighty will grant him many more years of relevance in the land in good health as he continues to contribute his quota to the development of Nigeria.

“On behalf of myself, family, friends, well-wishers and the entire country, I appreciate God for your life and prays God to grant you enduring provisions”.

He said Obasanjo’s years of leadership of our country, shows an undeniable commitment to the unity, peace and even development of Nigeria.
