Fierce looking gun weirding men have assasinated the Managing Director (MD) cum Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Scientific Equipment Development Initiative (SEDI), Prof. Simon Ndubuisi, Enugu State.
Trouble started on Wednesday July 7th 2021, when the Director of the Federal Government (FG) agency, was being driven in his official vehicle, which was labeled “SEDI 26D 02FG”, along Enugu Port-Harcourt Expressway, was attacked and killed.
It was gathered that his orderly was equally killed why his driver’s fate remained unknown.
Images and video of the heinous murder are currently circulating on the internet.
The Enugu-based Scientific Equipment Development Institute (SEDI) is part of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASEI) (NASENI). It is in Enugu South Local Government Area’s Akwuke.
The institute is actively involved in science research, development, and dissemination, all of which have greatly aided the nation’s growth and development.
As at the time of reporting this story, the Enugu State Police Command is yet to confirm the incident.
