Addressing journalists at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, Alhaji Gabam, expressed worries that terrorists have en-cycled the nation’s capital, as bandits parades AK-47 Rifles on motorcycles, displaying supremacy over the country’s security architecture.

Hear him: “The video clips that I collected whether I am right or wrong, showing people on a bike with AK-47. Driving around strategic sectors. There is fear all over the place that Abuja have been en-cycled by bandits or whatever name they chose to call them.

“Then, where are we? I support what the National Assembly are doing, Nigeria, first. We must save this country. Nobody wants to be internally displaced and nobody wants to be a refugee in his/her country.

Meanwhile, the National Chairman of SDP, has called on Buhari, is honourably resign following rumour that he was inna hurry to go at the end of his government in May 29th 2023.

He pointed out that with the recent attack in Abuja and reports of insecurity across the country, the president was no longer in control of the nation and the security apparatus, describing it as an “act of incapacitation”.

According to Alhaji Gabam, “Now, if the president and Commander-in-Chief whether rightly or wrongly or jokingly said he is in a hurry that he wants to go, he needs to resign. All indices have shown clearly that there is act of incapacitation.

“There is this likelihood of respecting the order of the president. It is on record that the president has given order to the service Chiefs several times but the service Chiefs are not obeying the order of the president, then something fundamentally is wrong, there is lost of legitimacy.

“And when legitimacy has dropped, then, anarchy is inevitable. So, I stand by what the parliamentarian, the Senators, members of the National Assembly have done. It is a patriotic position.

That position must be supported, Nigeria, must be secured. Nigeria, doesn’t belong to the President and Commander-in-Chief. Nigeria, belongs to every Nigerian. We are equal stakeholders in this country”, he declared.
