The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Women, the apex Igbo socio- cultural group, has appealed to political leaders, youths and traditional rulers in the country to address the challenges and difficulties faced by Ndi Igbo especially the youths who are the future leaders.
Briefing newsmen, the President General of Ohaneze Ndí Igbo Women Wing Worldwide, ably led by Hon. Chief Rita Daniels Chukwuji ( Ochiudo) said the Igbos are rich in their diverse common language and culture, therefore there’s need for a sincere unity of purpose and a sustainable peace in our country Nigeria.
In her speech she proffered suggesting solutions that could pacify the aggrieved Igbo youths, citizens, also called on the federal government to graciously look into the agitations of the south east.
In their quest to sanitize randomly in all spheres she went further to call on other mother’s to majorly take upon their selves the duty of bringing out our children from the streets of negative influence and deliquesces . Therefore as proactive, prospective and vibrant mothers we are appealing to the Federal government to harken to the voices of our humble cry and supplication.
More so, if there’s stability in the fair share of positions and privileges to South Easterners in the center stage of power, I believe the igbos will feel the oneness and esteem sense of belongings as we are called to be one nation .the youths needs to also effectively participate in the limelight of leadership in various capacities in our country, thereby making a reliable chance of position for Empowerment and employment to engage them physically and morally because it is said that an idle mind is a devil’s negative thoughts of dwelling.
This will also enable the eradication of sporadic Killings,kidnap and other social vices affecting our livelihood and properties.
While we Solicits that the demands of our youths needs adequate attention and focus, we advice the youths to constructively criticize and Shawn the free use of hate speeches. Having gone through many crisis our youths and leaders should display a more patriotic role in dialoguing diplomatically and cooperating with the government rather than resolving to a violent agitation in other to ensure the survival of our children, brothers, husbands and economic development.
Consequently, the Ohaneze women also encouraged the Igbo speaking language to all Igbo parents children all over the world In The spirit of Universalism of mankind.
In other words, the Ohaneze Ndí Igbo women urged the society to peacefully express their social justice and opinions without crisis or obstacles,it is on this note that the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo women appealed to the federal government and security agencies to temper mercy with justice in facilitating the release of our detained Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and other Igbo youths whose freedom are appealable and regainable.
We appeal to the youths to forgive and forget wherever their leaders might have fallen short of their expectations, together we can build and retain the nation we hope for as all hand must be on deck.
Furthermore ,the National woman president stated that the igbos are one anywhere we go “Onyeaghala nwanneya”, they are hardworking, committed, resilient and gifted with special endowment therefore let’s learn to love ourselves because together we can and divided we fall.
She urged the opinion Leaders to look into the lives of our youths and give them listening ears with a view to keep moving the nation forward. She also referred everyone to learn from the EndSARS protest which almost killed all our youths as she called for total restructuring of leaderships, positions and decisions that could affect the entire region hence equity and justice should prevail.
She went further to advice the young and old in the Eastern region to resist violence, fake news, Cyber tensions and remain resolute as “we pray out our nation in conjunction with other governor’s wives.
Conclusively the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo women leadership is open to synergize with the government that will protect the right and interest of Ndi Igbo home and in diaspora as peace will reign
