Addressing the mammoth crowd at his Palace, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Igwe Amb. Patrick Okolo Chukwunwe-Eze 1, the traditional ruler of Nkpunanu Nsukka Ancient Kingdom, the Eze Igwe I, of Nsukka, Enugu State, said they were pleased to identify with the Omu of Okpanam/Omu Anioma, Her Royal Majesty Obi Martha Dunkwu, as Nneoha (Mother To All).
“I am aware that you were conferred many chieftaincy titles in Delta and Edo States over the decades, hence, the need to also crown you mother to all and mother without borders to enable us tap from your wisdom, knowledge, understanding and then enjoy your example of proper motherhood.
“We in Nkpunanu Nsukka Ancient Kingdom are today highly elated to have actualized the dream and desire to crown you Nneoha in Nsukka Ancient Kingdom”.
The Nsukka Ancient Kingdom monarch described Nneoha, as a great mother, a builder, a welfarist, a mentor, motivator, Mother without borders, a home woman adorned with beauty and brawn.
In her address, the Omu of Okpanam/Omu Anioma, Her Royal Majesty Obi Martha Dunkwu, who was conferred with the Nneoha (The Mother To All and Mother Without Borders), appreciated Igwe Amb. Okolo, for the honour.
She expressed gratitude to the monarch and people from the south-east who have over the years recognized her in some of their traditional functions, promising not to take the relationship for granted.
“This Nneoha Crown is a motivation to work harder, bearing in mind that somebody must play the role of a Mother To All or Mother Without Borders.
“A mother is a home builder, a compassionate lover, a peace maker and the water that quenches the burning fire”, just as she expressed optimism of a male leadership that would speak in one voice and bring about the desired change.
“I will continue to lend my voice to push for greater Constitutional role for traditional rulers as true agents of change at the community, State and regional levels, believing it to cascade into harmonious, peaceful, united and indivisible nation.
Also, the His Royal Majesty Obi Dr. Kikachukwu, the Obi of Ubulu-Uno, who was in the company of Nneoha and Her Royal Majesty, Omu Onyebuchibe Okonkwo, Omu Obior, thanked Igwe Amb. Patrick Okolo Chukwunwe-Eze 1, for finding Omu Anioma/Nneoha, worthy of the title.
