To stop the use of hard drugs otherwise known as Mkpurummiri, in Igbo, residents of Njete Abogu in Oyi local government area of Anambra State, flogged a yet to be identified young man.
A post by one Daniel Atarhe, was stripped naked with only pant and flogged 24 lashes of the cane in the eyes of community members.
“In a bid to stop the consumption of hard drug popularly known as “Mkpurummiri (ice) in their community, the residents of Njete Abogu in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State has begun arresting all hard drugs (Mkpurummiri) peddlers and consumers in their neighborhood.
