The Independent National Electoral Commission has opened the collation centre for the gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
Collation was earlier announced to start by 10:00am on Sunday, but as of the time of this report, rigorous screening of accredited media houses and civil society organisations is ongoing.
There is a heavy security presence within and around the collation centre, with various political party agents and some local government electoral and collation officers on the premises.
