Barely six days to the presidential election, the founder of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), as his preferred choice for president in the February 25th election.
Apostle Suleiman gave his endorsement on Sunday February 19th 2023, during his service at the headquarters of his ministry in Auchi, Edo State.
In a video on Facebook that has gone viral, Suleiman who is regarded as an end time Prophet said: “People are dying they cannot eat and my heart we as broken. I feel very bad. One of the things I don’t do anymore is to talk about politics. It is something I don’t do and it is deliberate, I don’t talk about politics and I will not, I can only encourage you and advise you to do the right thing and that is the truth.
“Hunger and all of that are not things we are supposed to be going through. We have no business going through what we are going through now.
“What is happening now is that 200 million Nigerians are suffering from two-fighting, we are victims of two-fighting.
“Let me give you a short parable, some years ago, people from different parties decided to come together to form one party to chase out one man. It is a story, I heard this story from a madman.
“They came together that they want to stand by one man, they collapsed their structure and gave it to one person. They sponsored him with money that they kept at home.
“They didn’t take the money from the bank, it was at home they kept it and on the inaugural day, the first thing that the man said is that I am for everybody and I am for no one.
“That should have told them that this is not a reliable person. This is an ingrate. All of them came together again, supported him the second time. Not knowing that this person never had them in mind.
“Now the person came back and the first thing he said he wants is that they don’t want vote buying so they have to make sure that there is no money anywhere.
“For people to agree to sell their votes, number one is that, you made them poor. You recognized poverty that is why you are scared of vote buying. If you made everywhere okay and people are comfortable, you will not be scared if people will buy votes.
“And it takes bulk money to buy votes. It doesn’t take people withdrawing their little money from the bank to buy votes. Money has to be so many to buy votes.
“You know who you are targeting, why not go to the person and collect the money they kept at home. Why dragging all of us into your fight? You know who are targeting. Why will you drag all of us into your fight? The international preacher mocked those who voted for him.
Speaking further Suleiman said: “Their eyes are clear now. Many of my friends, they retire them because they gave their support and the other part, they are all crying. The say the governors are crying that the policy is hard on Nigerians, forget those governors, they are all criminals.
“The truth is that they are doing it for their own selfish gain that we should obey the Court, the Court has said it. The Court has said that Nnamdi Kanu, should be released long time ago, he has not been released.
“Did they obey the Court? All of a sudden you are obeying the Court. You are talking about Court, you that don’t obey the Court. They what they are fighting. I am talking to those who are politicians in the Church, you have learnt your lessons. Don’t plan your political life around the person that is not grateful, he will retire you.
“No matter the economy of the forest, the Lion cannot eat grass. Use this anger to vote against this wickedness. My wife, myself, my children, we are fully obedient”, Suleiman declared.
He reiterated that his family is 100 per cent in support of the presidential aspiration of the former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi.
The church went into eruption as he made his endorsement of the Labour Party presidential flag bearer known.
He charged the Church not to vote for insecurity, tribalism, bigotry and ethnicity.
