Barely four days after some #ENDSARS protesters donated N3.2 million to a groundnut seller in Lekki area of Lagos State, a young lady, Jane Obiene, is a beneficiary of the same kind gesture in Abuja, the capital of the nation.

It was learnt that the #EndSARS protesters on Sunday had compassion on her when she marched out with one limb, to join the protest with crutches

A twitter user, one Jonathan Odoba, shared the picture of Obiene, describing her as his heroin.

“My heroin for today was this lady. She walked all through the protest #Endsars,” his tweet which gained over 18,000 likes and 16,000 retweets reads.

Meanwhile, another twitter user, @Aproko_Doctor reshared the image and called on people to donate to buy Obiene a prosthetic leg.

“This is Jane. She’s been unemployed since 2013 partly because of her disability, she came out in the #EndSARS protests and we need to help her”.

They called on people to make donation towards the project as over 300 persons have donated over N3 million and counting as at the time of this report.

“Nigerians are still good people with compassionate hearts. Good things are still possible only when we the citizens determines!
Congratulations to her. God bless Nigerian youths”.
