Plans have been concluded to honour and immortalize the biggest private investor cum leading governorship hopeful in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, FNIM, by the Wukari Traditional Council, Wukari local government area of Taraba State.
Gbagi, who has been described as a “Living Legend”, leaves positive footprints wherever he goes, this has endeared him to people of all tribes as he has been give several titles and won awards due to his philanthropic gestures to mankind particularly the less privilege in the society.
A letter dated 14th December 2021, conveying the approval of the Executive Chairman of Wukari Local Government Area of the state, Hon. Adi Daniel Adigrace, revealed that the decision was reached on 29th September 2020, at a meeting of the Wukari Traditional Council.
According to the letter, the Council decided to honour as well as immortalize some eminent personalities who had in one way or the other contributed positively to the growth and development of the locality by way of naming streets after them.
“Consequently, upon the recommendation of Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, by Wukari Traditional Council, we are pleased to inform you of the Wukari Local Government Council’s approval”.
The letter signed by the Vice Chairman who doubles as the Chairman and Secretary of the Street Naming Committee, Hon. Tijani Sale Angyu and Emmanuel B. Sallah, noted that Wukari Local Government Council, considers the implementation of “this decision with sense of seriousness and wish to complete the exercise within the next 60 days”.
