The gathering on that Friday 10th ushered in a transforming and spiritual atmosphere also marked the maiden edition of the intercessory programme billed to hold regularly in appreciation to God for the selfless life of Hon. Nwoko and the fulfillment of his numerous projects for mankind.
The body of prayer warriors whose mission on the Ned Nwoko Goodwill Project is for peace, forgiveness, restoration, reconciliation and ultimately the development of Idumuje-Ugboko community.
According to the Convener of the Prayer and Fasting Crusade, Pastor Israel Chima, “We have seen what God is using Prince Ned Nwoko to do for humanity; we have also seen the wicked hand of the devil to thwart some of these good intentioned projects.
“That’s why we felt that for such people oriented agenda and projects of this good spirited illustrious son of Anioma to continue to succeed, we need to regularly seek the face of God on his behalf.
“Ned Nwoko has a vision, which is giving back to the society. This is rare among so many wealthy people. But in his own case, he does it unrestrained and seamlessly. His charity and philanthropy towards people, his community and by extension the entire country is unimaginable and something that everybody should cherish with thanks and praise to God.
“So we are seeking the face of God for the actualization of this vision, especially as it regards the development of Idumuje-Ugboko community and the citing of the premier Sports University in sub Saharan Africa – the STARS University therein.
“We are also praying for peace in Idumuje-Ugboko, asking God to soften the heart of every man with a stake in the Idumuje-Ugboko debacle. We need peace for progress and development to take place; and anybody who does not want development is a devil’s advocate.
“Ned Nwoko represents development and he is a rallying figure for such. Nobody, not even wicked spirits can stop him from actualizing the vision of developing his place. We know that the devil works in different dimensions and if not spiritually at alert to his devices, mere mortals can ignorantly fall prey to him. That’s why we are praying for God to restore peace in the community and bring all the actors together in unity and love to join hands in moving the community forward.
“We believe that there is nothing God cannot do. And so peace and reconciliation are sacrosanct to a harmoniously developed community. If there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer. And so we return all the glory to God alone for the maiden edition of our Prayer and Fasting Session for Ned Nwoko; for we know He will perfect all that concerns him including the actualisation of his people oriented developmental vision and peace in Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom”, Pastor Chima affirmed while briefing the press.
Meanwhile, the Prayer and Fasting session witnessed the rain of God’s power as the anointed Men of God deeply went to God in prayer, praise and worship, which is believed to eminently manifest in testimonies going forward.
The event of the day coincided with the naming of the new born baby boy between Prince Ned and Regina Nwoko in Abuja.
Prince Ned Nwoko, a former House of Reps member had brought so much development to his people and community in terms of scholarship awards, rehabilitation of the Federal road connecting Ugboko and Onicha-Ugbo, influx of tourists into the town for the Mount Ned Nwoko Resort and of course the almost completed STARS University ready to take off with academic sessions in September. The STARS University is a project that will change the economic fortune of the people of Idumuje-Ugboko and Anioma in general.
Not forgetting the Ned Nwoko Malaria Eradication Project in Africa; Ned Nwoko seems to have solution to major challenges bedeviling our continent and country. This is a project that mightily needs the hand of God to succeed; and if it does, that would end the killing of children and the elderly by Malaria.
This is a man loved by all and spiritual observers are believing that this standing in the gap with prayers and fasting is commendable in order to stop the devil from carrying out his wicked enterprise in the affairs of Ned Nwoko and his vision for Ugboko and humanity.
