The Anioma Medical Professionals Forum, a Non-Profit-making Organisation of dynamic young medical personnel has planned the two-day medical outreach for Saturday 27th March 2021, to treat patients free at Idumuogo village in Aniocha north local government area of Delta State.
The group would be partnering with OMIWA Foundation to give the local dwellers free consultations and counselling, free drugs distribution, free laboratory tests, free eye screening and dispensing of eye lenses, health talks on nutrition and disease conditions, including hypertension, diabetes and blood sugar tests.
According to the Convener and President of AMPF, Dr. Alexander Awunor, “the medical outreach would hold between 27th and 28th March, 2021, starting from 9am daily”.
Awunor affirmed that the group had made enormous achievements in meeting the health needs of Anioma people at various points, adding that it is readily poised to contribute more to the health development of Anioma people and beyond.
He also used this medium to call on well meaning individuals and corporate entities, including government to sponsor medical programmes for the benefit of the people, maintaining that only on such instances would the less privileged persons in the society have access to free medical attention.
