A former staff of Zenith Bank PLC, Apapa branch, Lagos State, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, has taken to the social media over N4 million debit alert on her Zenith bank account.
According to the young lady who wept profusely on the road, the money which was withdrawn in three tranches were sent to Access Bank and United Bank for Africa (UBA) accounts.
The N4 million disappeared from her Zenith bank account within three minutes leaving her with only N12, 900 in her Zenith Bank account.
In a video, that has gone viral on social media according to https://newsonlineng.com, the lady said the transaction was done at 8:43pm on Monday night.
Apparently, N4million was deducted three times within a space of three minutes from her bank account.
The lady who said she is an ex-staff of Zenith bank revealed that she stormed Access Bank the next morning and was told that the money has been withdrawn.
The lady who called on Zenith Bank to refund her money said: “I bank with Zenith bank and yesterday night at about 8:43 pm, I got a first debit alert the first one was to an Access bank account, N3.7m was transferred from my account to the access account.
“Then a minute later I got the second one of N222, 900 to the same Access account. It wasn’t even up to a minute I got another debit alert of N102,000 to a UBA account.
“Everything that was withdrawn from my account was over N4 million. and what is left in my account is N12, 900.
“I don’t know who did this and I don’t know how this happened. but am saying Zenith bank please refund my money. I have gone to Access bank and they said they have withdrawn the money…”
