The over 1, 068 eligible staff of the Delta State Unified Local Government Service invited for the July 2021 promotion interview, have been charged to comply with the directives of the Local Government Service Commission or would not be attended if they do otherwise.
Heads of Personnel Management (HPM) and Establishment Officers, have been urged to inform the affected officers to come on the dates scheduled for their interviews.
The invitation letter signed by the Deputy Director of Administration, Dr. Julius Oteme, on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Joseph Otirhue, disclosed that the exercise has been scheduled to hold for 10 days.
According to the letter, the promotion interview which shall be commencing on the 6th of July 2021 to the 27th of July 2021 shall be taking place at the premises of the Local Government Service Commission.
“In addition, Officers are to come with all the original/photocopies of all relevant credentials.
“All officers are advised to dress properly in line with the civil service dress code as improper dressing will not be allowed.
“In addition, all officers are to stay safe and protect others by maintaining proper social distance of two metres from each other, proper usage of face mask and rules approved by the Federal Government and Medical experts should be adhered to, as individual responsibilities would help curb the spread of COVID-19 Virus.
“However, nursing mothers are advised to leave their babies and toddlers at home or come with babysitters who can take care of their babies while the interview last.
“The Administrative Officer Cadre,Programme Analyst Cadre, Statistician Cadre, Data Processing Officer Cadre, Confidential Secretary Cadre and Secretarial Assistant Cadre have been scheduled to have their promotion interview on the 1st day of the exercise being the 6th July 2021 while the Accountant Cadre shall be attended to on the 2nd and 3rd days.
“Day 4 of the interview being the 13th of July 2021, shall have the Executive Officer (Administration) Cadreand the Executive Officer (Accounts) Cadre.
“While Legal Officer Cadre, Legislative Officer Cadre, Information Officer Cadre, Legislative Assistant Cadre, Assistant Information Officer Cadre, Planning Officer Cadre, Social Welfare Officer Cadre, Agric Officer Cadre Fisheries Officer Cadre, Livestock Officer Cadre Livestock Superintendent Cadre.
“Agric Superintendent Cadre, Wireless Radio Superintendent Cadre, Computer Assistant Cadre, Revenue Superintendent Cadre and Market/Motor Park Superintendent Cadre shall be attended to
on the 14th of July being the 5th day of the exercise, Community Development Officer Cadre and Community Development Inspector Cadre shall be interviewed on the 6th day.
“On the 7th day of the interview being 20th of July, the Education Officer Cadre, Assistant Education Officer Cadre and the Adult Education Officer Cadre shall be attended to while on the 21st of July, Nursing Officer Cadre, Medical Records Officer Cadre, Medical Records Technician Cadre, Community Health Officer Cadre, Food Scientific Officer Cadre and Community Health Extension Worker Cadre shall be interviewed.
“Day 9th of the exercise being 22nd of July shall have the Health Educator Cadre, Environmental Health Officer Cadre, Environmental Health Technician Cadre, Environmental Health Assistant Cadre, Pharmacy Technician Cadre.
“Dietician Cadre,Medical (Science)Laboratory Cadre, Medical Laboratory Technician Cadre and Pharmacist Cadre While
Engineer Cadre, Architect Cadre, Town Planning Officer Cadre, Technical Officer Cadre, Technical Assistant Cadre, Works Superintendent Cadre and Senior Deck staff Cadre will have their interviews on the 27th of July 2021″, it added.
