Sinebe, Akpobi, Lawal Advocates For More Youths To Delve Into Politics

The need for more youths to delve into politics in fulfilment of their dreams and bring the needed change, has been harped on.

The member representing Patani State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Hon. Emmanuel Sinebe, made the call when the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Connected Development (CODE) cum Founder, Follow The Money, Hamzat Lawal, paid a courtesy visit on him.

The Special Adviser (SA), to the state governor on Youth Development cum Executive Director, Not Too Young To Lead Initiative, Amb. Elvis Akpobi, was also in the forefront of the advocacy.

Also in the courtesy visit, is one of Delta and Nigeria’s vibrant youth and journalist with Trend FM, Mr Austine Okorodudu, described as one of Delta’s export to the world.

According to Elvis, Hon. Sinebe, is a by product of youth advocacy and grace, “as a member DTHA, he has made himself a thermometer for measuring effective and contagious youth leadership with personality”.

He disclosed that in the course of their discussion which was basically centered at inspiring more young persons with character to vie for political offices if they want to really change the narratives and become the leaders they desire for the country.

The legislator sized the opportunity to enumerate the giant  strides of the Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration as it concerns youth and infrastructural developments.

The CODE CEO, enjoined the young legislator to keep up with his good work, stating that his performance would either open or close doors for more young persons, even as he reiterated the need for effective collaboration and support for young change makers in the state.
