The senator representing Delta North senatorial District at the red chambers of National Assembly (NASS), Senator Ned Munir Nwoko has expressed satisfaction with the management and members of NED/GKE skills acquisition center Asaba, Delta state.
During his assessment tour of the centre which trains youths in Delta north in various vocational and technical skills ranging from fashion design, photography, ICT, Cosmetology, Soap making, weaving and others, he stated that he was highly impressed by the level of quality and standardisation, at the skills acquisition centre.
Senator Nwoko said “Apart from the fact that the Ned/GKE skills acquisition centre management and membership worked for my election as a Senator, I am happy that you all are doing things to assist yourselves vocationally”.
He maintained that as a senator, he is concerned about the future of the youths and citizens generally, saying the skills acquisition centre would provide the necessary training for them and make them economically empowered and self-reliant.
Senator Nwoko promised that he would try his best to assist in funding, the GKE/Ned skills acquisition Centre so that more persons and Nigerians benefit from it.
The president of NED/GKE skills acquisition centre comrade Emmanuel Okocha highlighted that the organization is satisfied with Ned’s mentoring ability, hence the establishment of the centre and promised that the NED/GKE skills acquisition centre would sustain its effort and commended the senator for promising to fund the centre.
