The event was at the Government House Annex in Warri on Wednesday, May 11, 2023.

Ologide, who is the immediate past Chairman of the chapel, listed the creation of Field Publicity and New Media departments in the ministry, internal and external training programmes and robust welfare packages for staff, among others, to substantiate his claim.

Ologide also stated that it would be difficult for any subsequent commissioner in the ministry to equal the achievements so far recorded by Mr Aniagwu.

While congratulating the field officers, he urged them to take advantage of the Field Publicity Department to showcase their talents in news gathering, writing and journalism and prove that they were authorities in grassroots Journalism.

He added that it would justify the creation of the new department .

Ologide had earlier appreciated the field officers for the sent forth party, which he said was an honour he would relish for ever and pledged to always identify with them.

Earlier, the Chairman of the chapel, Comrade Charles Ojefia; a former chairman of the chapel, Mabamije Balogun and the Head of the Information Office in Uvwie Local Government Council, Mrs Ese Daniels, poured encomiums on Comrade Ologide, describing him as a dedicated and deligent information officer and reporter while in service.

High point of the event was the presentation of a plasma television set to Comrade Ologide.
