A young man simply identified as Okefe has reportedly died while playing footbt in Sapele, the administrative headquarter of Sapele local government area of Delta State.
Trouble started on Monday May 30th 2022, when Okefe and others while training at Ufuoma Primary School field in the evening of the fateful day.
It was gathered that he was first rushed to Jesus Heals Clinic in Sapele where oxygen was administered on him in a bid to help him recover but his breathe was deteriorating.
It was learnt that he was later rushed to Mascap hospital where the doctor on ground confirmed him dead but was later rushed to New Life Clinic in Ugbeyiyi, where the doctor said he was already dead before he arrived the hospital.
It was gathered that Okefe died of Cardiac arrest on same field where one Akamovba, died of same Cardiac arrest two months ago.
Although, the news of Okefe’s death was hidden from his wife yesterday whom he married barely one month ago, it could not be ascertained if she has been briefed as at today.
