Governorship candidate on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi FNIM, OON has congratulated His Royal Majesty (HRM), the Ovie of the ancient Ughelli Kingdom, Wilson Ojakovo, Oharisi III, on the special occasions of his 31st coronation and his 70th birthday anniversary.
Gbagi, with the traditional title of Oja re’ Urhobo rhe ri, (the suffering of Urhobo has come to an end) of Ughelli kingdom, in a statement signed on his behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Kenneth Orusi, wrote: “Your Royal Majesty, Wilson Ojakovo, Oharisi III, the Ovie of Ughelli kingdom.
“On behalf of my family, the Social Democratic Party, I join you, your family, friends and all the good people of the kingdom at home and in Diaspora in thanking and praising God today, on your 31st coronation and 70th birthday anniversary.
“Your reign has brought vision and purpose to the great and ancient Ughelli Kingdom. Sons and daughters of Ughelli now see a clear pathway to unity, prosperity and peaceful co-existence with all especially with the introduction of the Ughelli Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.
“We have indeed benefited from your fatherly role in ensuring stability, peace and progress in Ughelli kingdom and our dear state.
“We pray that God will grant you many more years on the throne in good health and joy, and that you will see the abundant fruits of your excellent leadership in Jesus name. Amen.”
He also prayed that the many more years that God would grant the king to sit on the exalted throne would usher in unmatched advancement and development to the people.
He added, “May God continue to grant you sound health, the vitality and wisdom to enable you continue to lead our great kingdom.
“Congratulations! Long may you reign”.
