Delta State’s Head of Service, Mr. Reginald Bayoko, has extended his warmest wishes to all Civil Servants, reminding them that the spirit of the season was an embodiment of God’s boundless love and grace.
Mr. Bayoko who said that “As we stand on the threshold of a new year, I also take this opportunity to express my heartfelt New Year felicitations to the dedicated workforce of Delta State”
In his festive message, the Delta Head of Service saluted the state’s workforce for their unwavering dedication and resilience throughout the preceding year.
Envisioning the joy of Christmas and the dawn of the New Year reigniting the sparks of hope and love, Mr. Bayoko gave an assurance of better days on the horizon.
While expressing gratitude for divine guidance that has “seen us all, particularly civil servants and Christians, through this year and into the festive season”, the HoS emphasized that Christmas and New Year symbolize love, peace, joy, and the promise of fresh beginnings for all of humanity.
Urging the workforce to embrace the essence of the season and the promise of the New Year, Bayoko encouraged everyone to reaffirm their faith in God’s eternal love.
Recognizing God’s blessings upon public servants in the State, he inspired them to renew their faith and remain steadfast in their prayers for the peace, love, unity, security, and progress of the State in the new year.
Bayoko, who utilized these occasions as an opportunity to inspire the workforce to intensify their efforts in actualizing Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda in 2024, emphasized the importance of upholding civil service ethos and core values, underscoring their crucial role as the government’s engine room and key stakeholders in the state’s development.
“As we bid farewell to 2023 and enthusiastically welcome 2024, I wish all Christians and public servants a joyous Christmas and a prosperous, fulfilling New Year”, Bayoko stated.
He admonished everyone to carry forward the season’s spirit into the new year by embracing and exemplifying the virtues of love, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to their roles.
“Let us all step into 2024 with faith, hope, and enthusiasm, ready to work towards a brighter, better tomorrow for Delta State”, he concluded.
