Fresh facts have emerged about the true identity of the Labour Party (LP), gubernatorial candidate in Delta State, Ken Pela.
The Story, gathered that his real name is Kennedy Pela, but on arrival at Oginibo, in Ughelli south local government area of the State, where his father, Pela, ran to for refuge after allegedly killing someone in his fatherland, abbreviated his full name Kennedy to Ken.
To have a smooth sail, he removed the four last letters from his name and adopted Ken, as his new name, perhaps in order to avoid any sort of linkage to his father’s past life to rob off on him.
Painstaking investigation revealed that Pela, who is the father of “Ken”, is from Ogodobiri community in Bomadi local government area of the state.
On arrival at Oginibo, they were received as fugitives but were allocated land to build and live among the people of the host community whom they shared things in common with particularly levies and other things related to family life.
According to findings, a native of Oginibo, Gbado Edafekpakpor, accommodated them whole they (the Pelas) purchased the land on which they sited the building where they are currently living from the Gbeshan family.
Further findings revealed that, the land belongs to Evwerha quarters of Oginibo, where Kennedy and his siblings erected the storey building.
It was further discovered that Pela’s children have severed the relationship between them the family that initially accommodated them following present status of financial wealth.
The Story impeccable source, disclosed that they relocated from Ogodobiri, where they were living to Oginibo, which Kennedy Pela, now claimed as his paternity.
“Kennedy ran the Ughievwen Microfinance (Community) bank approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), aground before he left the community.
“He was deceived by one Andrew Desi, and till today, both of them are living and doing things together”, the source alleged.
Check on the genealogy, revealed that Kara, family accommodated them while Kara’s father is Ojigbo, whose father, is Gbado.
From the above, it is therefore, a clarion call on the Urhobo nation not to be deceived into casting their votes for a stranger whose identity was fraudulently sealed.
But in a swift reaction, the Media Aide, McCollins, debunked the allegation, saying Ken Pela’s identity was not hidden anywhere.
Hear him: “He does not have any hidden identity, there is nothing like that and that is not true. Anybody can say anything at this time.
“If you and I are competitors, you will go any length to tarnish my image and if I have that same character, I will do same. So, anybody can say anything”, Mccollins, repeated.
