UNN Suspends Lecturer For Impregnating Four Students In Four Years

A sharp shooting lecturer engaged by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Mr. Chigozie Odum, has been suspended for purportedly putting four female students of the University in the family way under for years of his appointment.

A letter conveying his suspension dated 15th February 2021, signed by the Deputy Registrar, Personnel Services, Achiuwa F. C (Mrs) for the Registrar, disclosed that his suspension is with immediate effect.

A student of the Department of Archeology and Tourism (name withheld), made the allegation against the leacturer.

According to the letter, “you should stay away from your duty post until the final determination of the allegation against you.

“You should also hand over any University property in your custody to the Head, Department of Archeology and Tourism”.

The institution’s Bursar had been directed to place him on half salary pending final disposal action on his case.
