Delta Poly Expel Two Students Over Gross Misconducts, Cult Related Activities

Two students have been shown their way out of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha south over what the school termed as “gross misconducts and cult related activities.

The Rector of the institution, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, on Friday 18th December 2020, in a chat with newsmen in her office, disclosed that the two students were deeply involved in cult-related activities and gross misconducts.

She said the two students, whose names were given as Jonald Ometan (male) with matriculation number FDT/HND/18/0015, Department of Foundry Engineering Technology and Justin Ometan (male) with matriculation number COM/ND/18/10126, Department of Computer science, ceased to be students of the institution with immediate effect.

The Rector warned that the management of the institution would continue to give zero tolerance for acts of indiscipline, calling on students to abstain from acts capable of putting them in trouble.
