The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) South South, has celebrated with its National Secretary, Comrade Wasilah Ibrahim Ladan, with glowing tributes on her birthday.

Described as a visionary leader and a tireless advocate for women’s empowerment, Comrade Ladan, was lauded for her transformative initiatives, which have opened doors for women in journalism across the country.
A release Saturday December 28, 2024, signed by Comrade Stella Macaulay and Comrade Eunice Emeyazia, Zonal Vice Chairperson and Secretary respectively, described her as a woman with capacity.
According to the release, NAWOJ South South felicitates with the National Secretary of the Association, Comrade Ladan, as she adds another year.
